Fighting Animation Study

Using Stick Figures, I investigated how people react to punches, or throw punches. I aimed for a realistic kick, which is shown through the kicks saying "unreal" or "real" . Then I cartooned up the reaction scenes to add jazz.

Character Heads/ Design

These are for a new comic, Mage. Each character is a basic design of what the character will look like.

Scene

This scene is using ideas from Ben Caldwell's book, Fantasy! Cartooning. I did NOT copy, I used ideas stated in the book. It's a bit rough, but I like it.
